Your event includes a guided creative project, standard materials, friendly creative hosting, time for host-supplied food and cake, and a finale suited to your group.

A $150 nonrefundable deposit reserves your confirmed date and time. The $450 package price applies even if fewer than 10 makers attend. No sales tax, service fee or credit-card processing fee is added to the party package. Separately purchased physical items are subject to applicable sales tax.

Some premium projects, specialty materials and optional extras may cost more. You may reserve your date before choosing the final project. We’ll explain any project-specific price before you select it, and you may approve the additional cost or choose an included option.

Party pricing covers the full private celebration experience. Open Studio project prices do not apply to birthday party bookings.

Food timing: Food should be ready to serve exactly one hour after the scheduled start time. If you are ordering delivery, schedule it for that time. Food delivered early will be set aside until the project is complete; we cannot guarantee refrigeration, warming or temperature control.

Child and teen celebrations

The claw machine is a whole party moment. Makers take turns and keep playing until everyone wins a colorful standard prize. Ask about group-wide upgrades to mini squishies, small plush, themed surprises or other premium favors.

Adult private events

The claw machine is available if your group would enjoy it, but it isn’t required. We can instead leave more room for unhurried creative time, conversation and photos.

Premium favor options and pricing vary. Every item must be approved and tested in advance to make sure it works reliably in the machine.

How much is a party?

A private two-hour event is $450 for up to 10 participating makers. Each additional maker is $45. The $450 package price applies even if fewer than 10 makers attend. A $150 nonrefundable deposit reserves the confirmed date and time.

What is included?

Your event includes private use of the studio, one guided creative project, standard materials, creative guidance and hosting, a personalized marquee and photo-ready backdrop, time for host-supplied food and cake, creative-area setup and cleanup, and a finished creation for every maker. Child and teen events also include the claw-machine finale and a guaranteed standard prize for every participating maker.

What does the host need to bring?

The host supplies all food, cake, nonalcoholic drinks, plates, cups, napkins, utensils, candles, serving pieces and related items. Violet’s Crayon provides the creative experience, project materials, celebration setting, and creative-area setup and cleanup.

Who counts as a maker?

Anyone completing the project counts as a participating maker, including the guest of honor. Nonparticipating adults are not charged, but please include them in your attendance estimate so we can confirm that the group will fit comfortably.

How long is the event?

Your private reservation is two hours from the confirmed start time to the confirmed end time. That includes arrival, creating, food, cake, the group finale, photos, gathering belongings and departure. Additional studio time is unavailable on the day of the event unless it was arranged and approved in advance.

When should food be ready?

Food should be ready to serve one hour after the scheduled start time. If you are ordering delivery, schedule it for that time. Food is served after the creative project. Early deliveries will be set aside, and we cannot guarantee refrigeration, warming or temperature control.

Can we choose the project after reserving the date?

Yes. We’ll help you select an included option that works for the ages, group size and interests of your makers. If a premium project, specialty material or special personalization costs more, we’ll explain the price before you select it; you may approve it or choose an included option.

Is the claw machine part of an adult event?

It can be, but it isn’t required. Child and teen celebrations normally include the claw-machine finale. Adult groups may choose it or use that time for more relaxed creating, conversation and photos.

What if a guest arrives late?

We’ll make a reasonable effort to help a late guest catch up with the guided project. Depending on how late the guest arrives and the steps involved, a finished project cannot be guaranteed. Late arrival does not extend the confirmed end time.

When is the final headcount due?

Your best final estimate and event details are due seven days before the party. The $450 package price applies for up to 10 makers. Additional makers are billed at $45 each according to the number who actually participate. Unexpected additional makers are subject to studio capacity and material availability.

How do we reserve a date?

Begin with the inquiry form. Once we confirm availability and the base package terms, a $150 nonrefundable deposit reserves your date and time. You may select the final project afterward. An inquiry alone does not hold a date.

Are party deposits refundable?

Party and private-event deposits are nonrefundable because your date is reserved exclusively and planning begins once your booking is confirmed. With at least 21 days’ notice, the deposit may be transferred once to another available event date within 12 months.

Cancellations or rescheduling requests made fewer than 21 days before the event are not eligible for a refund, transfer or studio credit.
